Why we exist

Having been actively involved with sport societies throughout my time at the University of Bristol, I’ve seen first hand their amazing impact on students.

From forming long-lasting friendships to pushing yourself physically and mentally, sport at university lays a foundation for a healthy, active lifestyle.

However, with my time at university, it became apparent that there are certain challenges faced by the sport societies in organising and managing their clubs with the likes of Facebook declining in use.

Keen to provide a solution I spent 16 months alongside my degree creating a tailor-made platform for sport societies at Bristol that would provide them with the means to run their clubs effectively.

Following this initial success, the platform has since scaled across 8 universities, raised significant investment and enabled the growth of our fantastic team (including an incredible development agency in Ukraine 🇺🇦)

We're now starting to onboard more clubs ready for the 2023/24 academic year and would love to hear from you if you're a new club committee member!

Nick Draisey
Triathlon Club President

"As a club president, Armago has been incredibly helpful. It's so easy to use, and it has all the features we need to manage our club, organise events and grow our membership base. Plus, the customer support is amazing - they always respond quickly and help us with any questions or issues we have. We couldn't be happier with Armago, and we're looking forward to using it for many more years to come."

Rosie Jones
Krav Maga Committee

"As a committee member of the Krav Maga society, I have been using Armago for the past few months and it has greatly improved the way we manage our club's activities. The platform is easy to use and provides a range of powerful tools, and the support from the Armago team has been outstanding with requested changes being implemented very quickly. I highly recommend it to other university sports clubs."

Luke Tomiak
Tennis Club Member

"As a member of the Bristol tennis club, Armago has made my life so much easier. I can now access all the club information and updates on my phone, and I can easily sign up for events and activities. It's also great to be able to communicate with other members and stay up to date on club news and announcements. Overall, I couldn't recommend Armago enough to other sports clubs at university."
